ameekerMemberJust wanted to confirm that was Bill said worked. HE knows that, of course, but thanks!

ameekerMemberThanks for the feedback. The plugin definitely helped.
I think I'm almost done with the exception of the red "Submit A Tip" buttons. I'd like to for them to be displayed on their own line (not wrapped with any text) at most all the breakpoints, but I'm having a hard time getting it to do that. Do you have any thoughts?

ameekerMemberAh. Lovely. Works perfectly. Thanks!

ameekerMemberNevermind. I'll just use the code straight from DS. You can mark this as closed.

ameekerMemberThese changes will be made to your stylesheet.css file, or if you're using JetPack, you can add them to the custom.css
To get rid of the blue background when hovering over the title:
.header-full-width #title-area a:hover {
background: none;
}To change the titles from uppercase to normal, find:
.page h1, .post h2 a, .post h2 a:visited
and remove
text-transform: uppercase;To change the menu colors (I think I caught all of these)... you'll have to find this:
#subnav li a:hover, #subnav li a:active, #subnav li:hover a, #subnav .current_page_item a, #subnav .current-cat a, #subnav .current-menu-item a { color: #222; }
and change it to this:
#subnav li a:active, #subnav .current_page_item a, #subnav .current-cat a, #subnav .current-menu-item a { color: #222; }
#subnav li a:hover, #subnav li:hover a { color: #fff; }
And then probably you'll also want to make this change, too, so that the dropdown items are white instead of the darker color.
#subnav li li a, #subnav li li a:link, #subnav li li a:visited { background-color: #4978bc; border: 1px solid #fddf71; border-top-width: 0; color: #fff; font-size: 11px; padding: 5px 10px; position: relative; width: 128px; }
Give me another minute and I'll have the menu centering.

ameekerMemberYes and no - it creates the new image size, but it hadn't yet added that new image size to the Media Gallery (I didn't catch that you needed it there - I thought you needed it just in the featured image widgets, etc...).
So your simplest option may be http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ .
But, if you want to finish coding it into the theme by hand, you can follow along here: http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/theme-development/using-custom-image-sizes-in-your-theme-and-resizing-existing-images-to-the-new-sizes/ starting at Step 2 .

ameekerMember/** Add support for custom header */
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 100, 'textcolor' => '444', 'admin_header_callback' => 'minimum_admin_style' ) );This line in the functions.php file will have to be adjusted, too. It defines the width and height of the custom header function that one can use by way of the Appearance>Header function accessed through the Dashboard. So you can change the CSS alone (and you'll have to change the CSS of the #header), but if you didn't also change the width/height here, your changes wouldn't display properly.

ameekerMember<code> // Add new featured image sizes
add_image_size( 'home-top', 400, 200, true ); </code>In this example, add that line of code to your functions.php file...
Renaming "home-top" whatever you want to call your new image size "perfect-size" or something like that and then change the width (400) and height (200) to your new dimensions and leave or delete "true" based on whether you want it to hard crop or not.
Then when you go to add a new featured image, this new image dimension will be an option.
Additionally, after you've added that new size, if you go back and change your old featured images to the new featured image size, you can then use the plugin "Regenerate Thumbnails" to force your WP install to recreate the featured images at your new image size rather than the old ones.

ameekerMemberI had this same question today, except using the Executive theme, and with the intent to use a tiled gallery in a widget in an area that is full width on the home page. When I asked over at the WP forums, they suggested I look to the TwentyTwelve theme for direction on how to filter the content width per page template, which I tried using this below, but it didn't work (used in the functions file, and took out a || ! is_active_sidebar( 'sidebar-1' ) along the way in the original example here: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/functions.php#L414).
`
/**
* Adjusts content_width value for full-width and single image attachment
* templates, and when there are no active widgets in the sidebar.
*
* @since Twenty Twelve 1.0
*/
function twentytwelve_content_width() {
if ( is_page_template( 'page-templates/home.php' ) || is_attachment() ) {
global $content_width;
$content_width = 1140;
}
}
add_action( 'template_redirect', 'twentytwelve_content_width' );`Any thoughts about how to get that to work?

ameekerMemberHere is an example of the archive pages now. http://vidafit.angiemeekerdesigns.com/2013/01/

ameekerMemberHaving said that, on archive pages, that moves the title of the last post above the content/sidebar and removes the post titles from the rest of the archive/category page. Hmm... How to get them back as they were on archive pages...

ameekerMemberHere's what worked, with some help from David Decker.
`
/** Relocate the post info */
add_action( 'genesis_meta', 'ddw_post_move_title' );
function ddw_post_move_title() {if (is_single() || is_page() || !is_page_template( 'page_blog.php' ) ) {
remove_action( 'genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
}
}`
