Hello Bianca. Thank you for the help. css is not my forte. And WordPress 5.x with blocks has given me a bit of a learning curve. But I'm getting there.
Those changes worked perfectly. Thank you for your help.

Now I can plan to get this site updated to latest 3.0 and a new child theme. I should have noticed the link at the very bottom of the them download library.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks.
Aaron MackleyParticipantAhh. Of course. Sorry. When I'm in administrative mode, I see front and back. I've turned off the maintenance mode.
Aaron MackleyParticipantHello Peter and Brad. Thank you for your comments.
Peter. In this case I need the front page. If I set to a specific page, then I lose all of the widget capability of the front page.
Brad. Thank you. Your explanation gave all of the details that I needed. You solved my problem. I signed up for your email list. I look forward to excellent tips. Thanks.
February 26, 2013 at 4:56 pm in reply to: Genesis Featured Widget-Amplified not pulling excerpt #22997Aaron MackleyParticipantFound the culprit. I had another plugin that I had forgotten about called Advanced Excerpt. I disabled the plugin and it is working correctly.
Aaron MackleyParticipantHard boiled Greg. Thanks. I looked on page and post (and checked the Screen Options too), but didn't see it available in either. I disabled and enabled the theme and it came back. Thanks.
