@samd: I don't know if you still have this problem.. disabling cache on site (form cpanel) solved for me!!!

Hi! I'm trying to insert a large logo image (600x160) on the center left of header space. I modified function.php (rows 47 and 48)
and stylesheet as you described but unfortunately result is bad.. Have you any ideas to solve this problem?
