    Hi there

I've been relocating (renovating, selling and relocating house) over the past few months and I haven't logged into my WP admin for a bit.

It's states there's a Genesis update and to ensure that it's updated before the new WP update is performed.

When I click on the link to update Genesis it states the following:

you do not have sufficient permissions to update themes for this site.

Does this mean I have to change the file attributes via FTP to 666 (read, write) etc? Or does it mean something else?

    Thanks so much

Fixed it, found a tutorial online by a guy who specializes in this stuff...

I went into the Role / User Capabilities and discovered "update themes" wasn't checked.
So I selected it and the update went through.

    Warm regards
    Mandy
