I'm running off the Prose theme, I was delaying doing the 2.0.1 update 'til I'd had a chance to do a backup, but then this morning I noticed Yoast not showing up in the posts page—so no way to modify meta description, etc. It's still showing on the sidebar, but when I clicked to look at my installed plugins thinking maybe it somehow got deactivated it's not there. Did a search to add plugin back and didn't even come up in the search results. This is very weird. Any idea what could be going on?

Also noticed this morning that my 'categories' box is now up top in the place where the 'publish' box used to be.

Since then, I have done all my updates, but still no change…

What do you me, Yoast Plugin not showing up in the search results? Are you trying to search for the plugin to install it and nothing came up?

Did you search for the plugin and install it and activate it but the plugin not showing up?
