ParticipantThe option to go to the next page is covered up in my Pages and Categories screens with the Bulk Actions and Apply button. Here's the link to the screen shot: http://www.center-for-empowered-women.com/images/wp-screenshot.png
Any idea how to fix this? I can't view the next Pages and/or Categories with it this way.
Just FYI: I have disabled each plugin and then enabled them one-by-one to see if that would help. It didn't.
Thanks.

MemberSome of your 'core' files may have been corrupted and a reinstall may solve it. I would go back to your dashboard and click the 'Updates' button ( second from the top, after 'Home' ). Then click the 'Re-install Now' button. It should reinstall the 'core' files while everything else untouched. This would be my first step.
Let us know if that solved it?

ParticipantFirst step taken - Went to Dashboard, clicked Updates. I am sorry to report that didn't help.
It still looks just like it did in the screenshot.
Any other ideas? I really appreciate the help.
Thanks.

MemberTeresa,
Did you click the 'ReInstall Now' button after getting to the 'Updates' page?

ParticipantYes, I did. Dashboard --> Updates --> Reinstall Now. It still looks the same.

MemberTry activating the default WordPress theme ( Twenty Twelve? ) and see if it is theme specific.

ParticipantWhen I did that, I got this message: Call to undefined function gltw_api_config() in /home/centerfo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/genesis-latest-tweets/genesis-twitter-widget.php on line 52
I tried to go to Installed Plugins to deactivate that plugin, but it won't let me. It stays on that error page.
Next I tried to go back to the Themes and it won't let me do that either.
NOTE: Removed the Genesis Twitter Widget via Filezilla.
Activated Twenty-Twelve theme. Problem remains so it is not theme-specific.

MemberI am glad you site is back up. I almost had a heart attack. This plugin disabled a site of mine. That plugin was not updated and was taken over by StudioPress. Use 'Genesis Twitter Widget'. I did not realize you use an FTP client. If you can replace the 'wp-admin' & wp-includes' folders. Upload the new folders as 'wp-admin_new' & 'wp-includes_new'. Then rename the existing folders 'wp-admin_old' etc..., then rename the new folders 'wp-admin' etc... If someone else has any ideas, please speak up.
Other ideas...
Does this happen on different browsers? Refresh it, Then clear your cookies & history
Do you have a 'caching' plugin? If so, clear the cache.
Install Plugin : WP-DBManager
Do the settings
After plugin connects with your database,
Click on repair database and repair it and then
Click on optimize database and so, on.Delete your plugins and reinstall them one at a time.
That is about all the ideas I have. If anyone has ideas, speak up.

ParticipantDoak, you are a genius!
First, yes, it was happening on different browsers - 2 different computers, 4 different browsers, so I was pretty sure it was something in WP.
I followed your instructions for replacing the wp-admin and wp-includes. Everything is now working properly.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I can get back to work.
You can now consider this issue resolved.

MemberTeresa,
Great. So now I am dubious of the automatic 'reinstall now' feature. It serves no purpose if it does replace the core files.
You can go ahead and delete the old ( wp-admin_old & wp-includes_old ) folders.

ParticipantAlready did! 🙂
I'm just glad I am tech savvy enough to know how to ftp. Lots of people who have blogs don't know how to do that and it just makes it harder on them when they need to fix something.
But I think you're right about the core files. If that ever happens again, I think I'll just do that first.
By the way, I went to WordPress.org and did a fresh download of the newest version of WordPress. So the files I extracted and uploaded were from the fresh download.
Thanks again. You were a tremendous help.
