    I'm tearing my hair out. I would like to have the header displayed and function like this site, with hamburger nav left, logo middle, social right, however I cannot for the life of me understand how to trigger the responsive menu for the navigation.
    I've been able to sort of get the layout I want using Brad Dalton's wpsites.net tutorial (3 widgets in the header -- custom menu left, logo center, social icons right), but I don't know how to make the custom menu trigger the hamburger menu.

    The very rudimentary site in progress is here. Thanks a ton in advance for any assistance!

    You can modify the CSS for Media Queries and remove it completely from the Media Queries.

    Thank you... is there any way I can get a little more guidance, though? Do you mean I should modify the media queries to target the new custom menu? And I'm not sure what you mean by "remove it completely from the media queries".

    Copy all the CSS for Media Queries and paste the CSS without the @media rule, before the start of the Media Queries.

    You need to remove this so the CSS is no longer wrapped.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {
    }

    Then you need to modify that CSS slightly.

    Don't remove the default CSS for Media Queries.
