    Hi, when uploading an image to WordPress, there are a bunch of fields to fill in.

    I get what Title, Alt, and Caption are for. What is the description for? is this important for SEO? How does this differ from ALT tag. Where does it appear? What are best practices? Wordcount? Keywords?

    From what I was reading about the "description" tag, it is more for your personal use in terms of managing your media library, and it isn't important for SEO purposes.
