    What's the best way to backup WordPress databases? Should I be doing this manually or via a plugin?

    If you haven't found your answer yet, depending on your host they may have them for you. I use Siteground and they back it up and I have 30 days sitting on the hosting account. You can do via a plugin. I use All in One Migration which makes a complete copy of the website and the database. It's saved on the server plus you can download the file to your desktop. There are tons of plugins out there.
