Has anyone noticed how slow the WordPress backend is since the last upgrade?
It seems to be quite slow compared to the speed of the front end. Something I have not noticed before.

Yes I have now that you've mentioned it.

I thought that it might be my browser or a plugin that I happened to installed at the time of the WP upgrade.

It takes about 2-5 seconds to reach the backend dashboard on my workstations but once I'm in it's not too bad depending on what I am trying to access.

I notice that one day, it took about 2 seconds to bring up my "Pages" area when before it was instantaneous.

I will live with it and only commented because you brought it up, (Smiles)

I have asked our ISP if they have had anyone else mention the slowness and they advise that the last version of wordpress requires (or works best) with the latest version of PHP and MySQL which they are now upgrading to.
