    With the recent WordPress update, many users are seeing their sidebars wonky, especially if their host auto-upgrades.

    Please upgrade Genesis. We released changes for WordPress in the last version, which was sent out a few months ago and detailed on our blog.

    If you did not get upgrade notices for Genesis, make sure the checkbox on the settings page is ON.

    You can also upgrade via FTP.

    As always, do not upgrade your customized child theme.

    Background images are not showing up either in customizer when part of the Front Page. Is this part of the sidebar issue? All my Genesis themes are up to date.

    Having a similar issue. Updated to latest version of WP and now the sidebars appeared on the homepage. Using Outreach theme. I have it at a staging server if you'd like to take a look. Any advice?

    Thanks!

    Having same issue on rhdefense.com.

    Have restored and upgraded Genesis, WordPress, and plugins several times, but the problem is not going away. Using Flex Pro theme.

    As I write this, I've asked my hosting provider to restore my public_html directory back to where it was on November 29, since that seems to be the last decent backup they had.

    Thanks for any help.

    The Layout settings just seem to have vanished completely, so I'm guessing that the default Layout is being applied to all pages at the moment.

    For a *temporary* fix here are some tags that target content on the main page - make sure to add this in an easily-removeable way in case they update:

    .content-sidebar-wrap{
    /* this is both the primary sidebar AND content */
    }

    .sidebar-primary{
    /* as it says */
    }

    .content-sidebar-wrap .content{
    /* this is JUST the main content */
    }
