WooCommerce Shop Page Display

Hello,

WC v3.3.0
Genesis: v2.5.3
Genesis Connect: v0.9.9

I believe that since WC has updated the shop display settings to use the customizer, there is a bug with the connect plugin that displays categories along with the products, no matter what setting you use. If you change it to "Show categories", or "show categories & products" it will show the categories twice.

This happens since updating to WC v3.3.0. I believe the template may also be ignoring the genesis global layout setting - I had to set it at the page level for it to work.

Please advise with any ideas. Thanks!

I don't want to flood the help desk with additional support tickets for this because I am sure they are being slammed but I was wondering if anyone has gotten an ETA on this repair yet?

The upcoming WooCommerce 3.3.1 update will contain a fix for this issue (https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/18676). We may also update Genesis Connect with a fix (https://github.com/copyblogger/genesis-connect-woocommerce/issues/15). We've also posted a workaround at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/categories-showing-on-shop-page-after-wc-3-3/#post-9921116 for customers who don't wish to wait for the updates.

WC is having some issues with their latest release.
GCW needs be downgraded back to 0.9.9 for awhile - til WC updates to a stable.

Just want to check if there's peace in the valley between woo commerce and genesis connect.
I'm still running genesis connect 09.9 and woo commerce 3.2.6.
Woo is asking to be updated to 3.3.2 and genesis connect to .9.10.
Is all safe now?
