WooCommerce 2.0 is at RC1 right now, so release is any day now... I have a site waiting to launch when WooComm 2 is here. Will Genesis Connect be updated for WooComm 2 by it's release?

Right now when I try to activate Genesis Connect for WooCommerce right now it says "in order to use this plugin you must first install WooCommerce"... but I already have WooCommerce 2 RC1 installed.

    Thanks!
    Mike

I've never used Genesis connect, but I have been using WooCommerce 2.0 on several sites that will launch soon.

Make sure your WooCommerce folder (in plugins) is named "woocommerce". I forgot to change the name of the main folder and several plugins wouldn't recognize it.

Not sure if it will help with Genesis Connect, but I thought i'd mention it. And don't forget to backup everything first 🙂

Hey Tony, great idea! That actually did work, sort of. It at least got Genesis Connect to activate and recognized WooCommerce, and it got the breadcrumbs to work... but it did something crazy to my single product layout. It moved the sidebar down to the below the content... very strange.

Any other suggestions? Or do we think this is just an incompatibility with Genesis Connect and WooCommerce 2.0 or 2.0 beta/RC1?

Hey JiveDig...I wasn't sure since I've never used Genesis Connect. They've made some major changes to WooCommerce 2.0, so I'm sure tons of plugins aren't working yet.

I've integrated WooCommerce into many Genesis sites without any issues, but I did get a warning on a new site I'm working on using 2.0. The warning was about Theme Compatibility issues and it was the first time I've ever gotten that. I've been working on several sites using WooCommerce 2.0, but this was the only one I had this issue with.

I'm not sure exactly what Genesis Connect does, but WooCommerce provides a way to replace the WooCommerce structure with your theme structure. If you want to try it out, I posted a snippet on my site:

WooCommerce Theme Compatibility With Genesis Framework For WordPress

Might be worth giving it a shot...but please remember to do a full backup before 🙂

I upgraded to WooCommerce 2.0. Now paging printed 2 times in archive pages.

Using Genesis 1.9.1 and Agency CHild theme.

Note: I have pasted the following code in functions.php. but it is not working

    remove_action( 'genesis_after_endwhile', 'genesis_posts_nav' )
