    Hi,

In my WP 4.0 site, I use Genesis v 2.1.2 and the Lifestyle Pro theme. Since a while I am unable to edit my widgets. The editor opens but when I click on the sidebar of which I need to update a widget, it will not expand to show the widgets.

Any clue on how to resolve this?

    Cheers,
    Bas.

It's a rough work around but have you tried going to screen options in the top right of the screen --> Enable accessibility mode when you are in the widgets screen.

You could try switching off your plugins and seeing if one is causing it. I would take a full back up of your files and database too before updating in future just in-case it happened at an update you want to be able to recover and update again.

    Hi Lorraine,

Thank you, it appeared to be DK Image rotator plugin. The sweet joy of updating the plugins every once in a while... #sigh....

Now I'll find a replacement for the image rotator.

    Thanks for now, case closed!
    Bas.
