    Hi!

I updated the Business pro theme from 1.04 to 1.1.0 and immediately the widgets on the front page broke:

The demo page https://demo.bizbudding.com/business-pro/ , subsection "Our Latest Work" shows portfolio items as featured images, a mouse over shows the title of the portfolio item. The knowledge base page, https://docs.seothemes.com/article/117-business-pro-front-page-widgets , Front Page 5 says this has been changed from a display posts shortcode to the "Genesis Portfolio" widget. However when I configure this widget EXACTLY as shown in the knowledge base I get something completely different: a) the image is shown, with the title beneath, b) the posts show up as a vertical list, not space out horizontally as the demo page, c) nothing happens with a mouse over.

I tested other widgets. The "Genesis - Featured Page" widget seems to offer the functionality that I want for the portfolio items, but then I can only select one page (there is no feature to select the latest portfolio items, let alone automatically select the ones that were published most recently). The knowledge base claims the "Genesis - Featured Page" widget will result in the functionality in what I actually get when using the "Genesis - portfolio" widget

I tried the demo content on a fresh install with genesis and the business pro theme to make sure absolutely nothing was interfering. The output of the widgets was different before I imported demo content (but how can demo content change the output of widgets?) and the result after the import of the demo content is not the same as either the demo page or the website that I am working on. (To be fair there were some errors with importing the demo content, but I couldn't find a way to do it manually, find a download of the demo content and import it like that)

    To sum up:
    * When I use the "Genesis - Featured Page" widget I get what the knowledge base claims should be the output of the "Genesis - Portfolio" widget
    * When I use the "Genesis - Portfolio" widget I get what the knowledge base claims should be the output of the "Genesis - Featured Page" widget.
    * You would say I could just interchange them but the Featured Page offers no ability to even select Portfolio items

Is there a way to customize these widgets?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, update. If I add the "Genesis - Portfolio" widget to the "Front page 5" section it shows up as expected. I then tested this widget in all the different front page parts and noticed that the output is completely different for every section I add it to!

    How can I change this?

Should I thinker with the source code of the theme? And what would be the right way to do this then? (I can not make a child them of the business pro theme because that itself is already a child theme)

I changed the class in the business-pro-theme folder, front-page.php file for the different front page sections to the front page section that I wanted (like class="front-page-2" -> class="front-page-5"). It works but it is ugly and it will be wiped out with the next update ..
