Got a client who added a some custom html from a marketing service they hired. It adds a newsletter signup form via an iframe.

The custom html widget is used and placed in Footer Widget 3 (or 2, of the Studio Pro theme). The iframe outputs right before </body>.

My guess it has to do with the javascript for the embed. There are two scripts in the code; the first <script> appears where it should, the 2nd one appears before </body> and outputs the form right after it.

Why is the 2nd script not being output in the widget area?

Where did you place the first script? Did you place it in the Genesis > Theme Settings > Header Scripts box?

I figured it out - it was the caching plugin. Once I excluded the scripts the embed displayed in the footer widget as expected.
