Can someone please tell me why Modern Studio Pro was retired?
I am asking to know if the issue with it is worth the hassle of moving to a new theme.

    Thanks in advance.

@nbdayan it wasn't retired for performance reasons or that there were issues with it. StudioPress retired many themes that were older themes. But they should perform just fine. If for some reason someone were to find a vulnerability in a retired theme, they should contact StudioPress regarding that. I'm sure if the theme itself would warrant updating, they would provide an update or fix to resolve the issue.

    Hi,

(Not exactly on topic for this theme, but I haven't been able to get an answer in other forum.)

    The query is:
Are there any known security issues associated with using older Genesis (2.x) framework, particularly with the retired Lexicon theme?

Our valued client put a huge amount of useful posts and styling into his site using (2.x) with the Lexicon theme, then had to mothball the site.
Content is still highly relevant but we've not found a modern equivalent of Lexicon - it just has a certain 'Techie/ reference' look that appealed to many at the time.

    Thanks in advance anyone!
