This is a basic question but I have Google it and searched the WordPress file structure. I find the replies state your pages generated from the database on the fly without creating an actual file. I thought when you created files the location would be under /wp-content/themes/gensis-sample/.

I want to be able to style pages outside WordPress text editor. Is this possible? Or do you have to style or create div/id tags by selecting objects from your browser and use web developer tool to view styling? Then return to WordPress pages and make changes in text editor?

You can add a custom body class or use the page i.d.

    1. Inspect the source code
    2. Scroll down to the body class and you'll find the page id

Thanks! It has been a while since using WordPress. It's starting to come back to me. The body class will be useful. I want to incorporate LESS in minimizing css for specific group of pages and etc.
