    I see that every how-to question you're pointed to a "how-to" link in the Downloads section but in the case of Serenity, there's just a screenshot ... there used to be videos that walked you thru most steps ... what happened to those?

    We stopped using videos quite a while ago because having videos for each theme just doesn't work. You have to maintain and update videos for 50 themes that get out of date with upgrades to Genesis and WordPress so then you have to make new videos. This was just going to make some big extra costs with minimal added value. Instead we are focusing on improving the quality of the text instructions with some screen shots. If you read some of the how to instructions for newer themes you will find much more detailed instructions including some common customizations you might make in some cases.
