A friend of mine has asked my input on choosing a Studiopress theme for her fledgling business.  I hyped Studiopress and the Genesis system so much she's excited, but  I have no idea how to suggest a theme!  I can help her customize one, though, once she decides.

She's looking for something that is visually similar to http://www.rosemaryevents.com.  Any suggestions on what Studiopress theme I should recommend to customize as close to that as possible?

    Many thanks!

Maybe Pretty Pictures but there's no other other theme that's anything like it really.

One way to approach it is to identify what type of content and for what purpose. That site mostly seems like brochureware (no offense to the site, it's beautiful! but it's not "doing" much). If your friend will be writing regular blog posts and trying to build an audience of people returning regularly, then that's one purpose; if she wants something to showcase her art and will update it infrequently, that's a different need. If there's an ecommerce element.... etc. The way we figured out which theme to go with was to first identify what we wanted the site to be/do and then we looked at the way the different themes were laid out - some emphasize different things than others based on how their default setup works.

    Hope that helps!
