I have had my Genesis site for a year now and it uses Yoast which I thought came with it. I have tried and tried to tweak this and that over the last year and its a pain. While digging around the Studiopress documents and tutorials, I noticed the SEO tutorial is nothing like what I have. So I deactivated Yoast and couldn't find what could be the stock SEO plugin. I run a magazine style site using News Pro and have around 1300 posts. I am reading people on here not using Yoast anymore, just curious what works best with Genesis.

    Thanks
    Matt

Me too. I like the Genesis SEO settings as i have found some plugins duplicate some micro data and can also cause site map errors and indexation of to many URL's.

Every time i publish a post, i simply add it to GWMT to fetch and crawl which is recommended by SEO's.

Since i removed the SEO plugin, my indexation is returning to normal.
