    Hi,
Hope someone here can help me with this.

After recently upgrading my wordpress version to 3.9.1, I noticed that my wordpress visual mode editor is completely blank.
But when I switch to the html mode, I can see the contents.

Can someone let me know if there is something I need to do in order to get back my visual mode again?
Is there a problem with the new version of wordpress or is the Agency theme not compatible with the wordpress update?

    Thank You!

    Regards,
    Sunil

Are you updated all your plugins? Update the plugins and then check it again. If it is not solving the problem then rename the "plugins" to "plugins-old" via FTP and check the editor again. If it is working then you will understand that plugins are creating the issue.

    Hi genwrock,

I've been always updating the plugins whenever there is an update alert on my wordpress panel.

Did renaming the plugins folder solved the issue for you? I'm just afraid to do so, as I fear my entire site will crash or something.
I've been reading many of the solutions online. Some say its because of the TinyMCE advanced plugin update.

Some suggested deactivating all the plugins and activating them again. So, am really confused here.

Actually it is JS conflicting plugin. Some of the plugin's JS is conflicting with WP Core's JS file and that reason visual mode is not loading properly. You can disable the plugin one-by-one and check the site. So you can find the corrupted plugin. Here is the some steps:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi Genwrock,

I deactivated and painfully activated one by one to see which plugin was causing the problem. I managed to find it.
    Its the guest post plugin.

I do have guest post on my website. Now after deactivating, the page is blank. I guess I would have to look for a new guest post plugin.

Hey, Genwrock, thanks for the wonderful recommended solutions! I would not have been able to write new content if not for you. You've been great! 🙂

    Thanks! 🙂
