Theres a virus on one of my sites. It was in the header which i've removed but is also at the bottom. Here is a snippet

    div>

    body>html> script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" > asgq=[0x28

I've not posted the full thing (and had to edit the slashs so it'd actually post correctly) but as you can see its outside of the html area. So what php file will i find this in because its not in the footer. Thanks.

It could be coming from your database. If you got hacked, I would contact a company like sucuri to add some security on your sites and get it cleaned up. Hacked sites are a HUGE pain to fix manually.

Its not in the database, its in a php file somewhere but i don't know which one. I managed to remove the one in the header but this one isn't in the header or footer, its outside of the html brackets in the source code.
