    Hi,

    Does anyone have suggestions about the best way to protect a WordPress web site from getting viruses/malware? Have you had any luck with paid services and/or plug-ins?

    Any insight you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    I recommend hosting in a Managed WordPress Environment. I started with WP Engine in Oct '12 and migrated all my client sites by Oct '13. I've been really happy with them. Other good options include Pagely or Pressable.
