    Hi All,

    I am using Magazine Pro.

I have always used the html embed code from vimeo or youtube when placing a video in a post however I note that it is also possible at this point to just put the url of the video in, however when I do that I am stuck with a small video.

Is there a setting in the css or somewhere else that determines the size of the video?

I like the idea of just using the url but want my videos to fit the post which is 800 pixels wide.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Try this

Or you can set it globally using PHP code.

    Brad,

Thanks but what do I do with that script?

That embed code is for a video 123 pixels wide.

Is it best just to do it the old way and set the dimensions with the html embed code?

I thought for sure that there is a better way.

Paste it in your editor, modify the values for the width and height and swap out the URL to your video.

    Brad,

That is what I have always done but now I see that I can just past a url of a video in and it will work.

So am I correct in assuming that it is just an easy way to get a video in but doesn't yet allow for global modification to set size.

I do see video embed CSS code but nothing happens when I change it, it seems like I could change the percentage to get to 800 pixels.

I'll go back to the old way.

    Thanks for your help.

The other option is to set the embed width using PHP code.
