    Hi

    I am looking to have images inside a table cell that are aligned in the middle. Currently if I place an image inside a table it is not vertically centred in the cell - there is a larger gap at the bottom of the cell. I think this is being caused by CSS in the stylesheet that says

    img.alignnone {
    	margin-bottom: 12px;
    }

    I don't want to change that as I don't want my images outside of the table to be effected. I have searched this forum and google searched and can't find a definitive answer. Plus a lot of the answers aren't for HTML 5.

    An example of what I mean is in the table on this page - I want to align the image (the little snowboard) to be vertically centred in the table cell like the words are - http://snowboardingprofiles.com/test-page

    It feels like there should be a simple fix but I can't seem to find it. If anyone knows how to achieve this it would be much appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    Nathan

    I might be confused, but I think you are barking up the wrong tree...

    Hmm... on second thought, yoiu could try this:

    .page-id-441 img.alignnone {
    margin-bottom: 12px;
    }

    And change your margin-bottom to whatever you want

    But that will ONLY work on that one page (your test page).

    Hi nate,

    You could target the image only for that page using the above code, also you need to set line-height for the td containing the image to 0

    Hey - thanks for the responses - I’m only seeing them now – I usually get an email when responses come in!

    This was so that I could centre images vertically within a table. I have now figured it out. It was a matter of using

    <img class=”aligcenter wp-image-757″ src=

    I had tried using “aligncenter” and it did nothing but removing the “n” from the “align” seemed to do the trick. Not sure why but it worked so I’m not arguing!

    Thanks again for your input.
    Nate
