I'm using the Wellness Pro theme and I installed the countup js plugin. It uses a shortcode to set the parameters of the countup. I waned to use this shortcode in one of the frontpage widget areas but when I put a text widget into the front page area and use the shortcode it just shows the text not the countup feature. The countup shortcode works if I use it on a page or a post just not in a text widget.

Worked perfectly. Thank you. I ended up using the functionality plugin so I didn't have to worry about updating my theme and losing the changes in the functions.php file.
