    Hello,
    I noticed with Monochrome Pro, if I take out

    position: -webkit-sticky;
    position: sticky;

    On .site-header

    Then the header search bar loses its formatting. Its height gets much higher, for one. You can test this on any Monochrome Pro install, even on the demo here https://www.studiopress.com/themes/monochrome/#demo-full (by using Inspect Element to 'uncheck' the CSS lines noted above).

    However, I don't want to keep the header sticky for people who are scrolling downward to see the rest of the site. But I DO want to use the header search function.

    Is there a way to use the header search without having a sticky header?

    If so, can someone tell me what to change so that the styling remains the same after someone clicks on the search icon to search for something?

    This may be a stupid question, but when I try to style the search bar using Inspect Element in Chrome (after someone clicks the search icon), it disappears. So it's nearly impossible to re-style visually that way. If there is a better way I'd love to know what it is...
