I cannot find a support ticket option here so resorting to this forum in desperation.
I have a live site and several people including a php engineer trying to troubleshoot why this website has suddenly for no apparent reason stopped showing most of the text, images and main menu.
We've rolled back to a backup which was working perfectly on December 3rd. Same issue. See here: http://www.termex.com.au
We're followed all the usual disabling of plugins and there is no plugin conflict. The server host has not made any changes and using a different version of php makes no difference. The server PHP version is 5.4. Other WP and Genesis themed sites on the same server work perfectly.
The site works fine with WP theme 2013. I don't understand how a website backup which worked perfectly a month ago on the same server can be broken in the same way the latest version was broken! It's weird.
Is a Genesis person able to look at this, or is this forum only contributed to by other users like myself?
Any help appreciated. The website owner is tearing his hair out from lost business, so it is extremely urgent.

If you have a technical issue with your theme or Genesis, you can contact StudioPress using the help form however this issue maybe something else which requires login and inspection of code.
Who's the PHP engineer who inpected your site or was that someone at your hosting provider?
If it's a WordPress or plugin related issue, you can use the WordPress.org forums.

I had hoped some nice person on the forum with more knowledge about this theme than I would take a look.

Do moderators actually view these posts?February 16, 2016 at 10:51 am #179151ChristophMemberHi,
remove text-indent: -9999px; from
.header-image .site-description, .header-image { display: block; text-indent: -9999px; }
around line 1220 of the style.css for an immediate fix.
http://screencast.com/t/BMKQhnbAYou have some issues with the HTML markup that might be causing this css to be applied site wide.

Yes, and I have just removed your personal information from your post.
February 17, 2016 at 2:36 pm #179264clownfishParticipantHi Susan,
Do you mean the information which I posted privately? Surely that would be for the eyes of trusted moderators only and no-one else? But thank you for removing it.February 17, 2016 at 2:46 pm #179265clownfishParticipantHi Christoph,
Thank you so much. I tried your first change but that didn't work even after I cleared the CDN cache. Someone from the support team eventually found a solution which was similar. What has completely stumped us is that the version I started seeking help for was a backup from two months ago which I rolled back to after the website broke, and which worked perfectly at the time it was backed up. The fact that it then displayed exactly the same problems defies logic. Thank you for the HTML markup tips. I will address these.
February 17, 2016 at 11:42 pm #179288ChristophMemberHi,
you are welcome.
I´m happy your issue got resolved.
What did you use for making backups?
February 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm #179341clownfishParticipantHi,
I use Backup Buddy but the backup I eventually rolled back to was one I'd done manually - database and files - and had stored remotely.
February 19, 2016 at 6:32 pm #179431SusanModerator@clownfish - yes, your private post is viewable only by moderators (such as myself), and by the person who created the thread, so technically, only a handful of people can view it, but as a point of practice, we don't recommend adding personal information at all in the forum, so I removed it.
