    For those of you using UpDraft Plus, how often do you backup your WordPress sites and how many copies do you maintain?

    Hi,

    I recommend daily backups and to keep them for about 30 days on a Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft One Drive account.
    Why not just a week?
    Because it minimizes the risk, when something goes unnoticed for a while.
    E.g., if a site is compromised (hacked), it might not be noticed right away or it takes a while until action is taken and compromised backups won't do anyone any good.

    Thanks Christoph. I'm currently doing daily backups and saving 4 versions. Anything more than that and I'll likely need to upgrade my storage capacity.
