The studio press widget "Featured Posts" has a drop down menu to choose "featured image size" depending on where you want the posts displayed. Is there one size that will work for all options so I only need to upload one photo? Or even one size that will work with more than one option?

    Rabbi Mitterhoff,

It may be helpful to point for you out how image sizes work in WordPress.

In the Settings > Media screen, you may set image sizes that are the appropriate dimensions for your theme.

Then, anytime you upload a photo through WordPress, it will create that image in all of those sizes for you automatically. So you end up with multiple versions of that photo in the sizes that you specified, without having to manually upload all of those sizes separately.

That being said, your images should ideally be the dimensions of your largest size requirement, as seen in the Settings > Media screen.

    I hope that helps.
