I need to create 2 blog "rolls" one for the regular blog which is open to everyone. that one should have every category except "client lounge".i tried this shortcode [display-posts category="clarity_focus" posts_per_page="20"] - am I doing something wrong? what am i missing here??

the second one is the client lounge is a place exclusive for clients (who need to log in) and should have the exclusive content ("client lounge" category). the wordpress shortcode isnt' working - any help would be greatly appreciated!

I also need to be able to put an introductory paragraph or 2 above the blog excerpts. Is there a way to do that? when you set the page template to "blog" it doesn't allow for content...

    thanks!

i would start by reading this post: http://www.briangardner.com/blog-page-single-category/

and you can make that page private.
