MemberI'm not a programmer so please don't tell me I need to start using css or something.
I'm adding images and text to a page. All I want to do is have the text wrap around the images. WordPress doesn't want me to do that and what I put on the editor does not match what I see on the site. I've tried left and no alightment but it's impossible.
I tried adding a table and putting the images in them but then that seems to break the font styles and the site font goes wrong.
Cheers
Paul

ParticipantHi Paul,
You have three images on your example page.
1st image: the text floats right of the left-aligned image, then tucks underneath it - wrapping around it. This seems to be the result you want.
2nd image; the text floats right of the left-aligned image, but there is not enough text to wrap the image. But, if you shrink the page width, the text wraps.
3rd image: The text and image formats are 'unusual' - the image and text are placed in table cells; the text will never wrap something outside the text cell.
Were you expecting something different? How would it look?
The WordPress Codex has a good page on Inserting_Images_into_Posts_and_Pages">Inserting Images into Posts and Pages .

MemberThanks Tom
I'm afraid what shows on the page does not resemble what I'm typing on the actual back end page creation area. I have to continually test by putting breaks in and images overlap if I want them to have a uniform space between them. I can't see an image upload button here unfortunately to show you.
I don't want it to wrap or at least I don't care but if I use tables the formatting vanished for the font and it turns it into arial or something like.
The link you sent me results in endless examples of code which I mentioned I've no clue and don't want to spend hours learning, it defeats the object of me using Genesis and WordPress.
regards
Paul

ParticipantOops.
I formatted that link poorly, the forum editor totally mangled that link. I meant for you to read this page: Inserting Images into Posts and Pages . No code on that page. Not. One.
