Hello,
I have created a 'top menu' and a 'bottom menu'.
The top menu is currently appearing in the light gray area at the top of the page.
The bottom menu should be appearing on the lower darker bar below the top menu, and next to the title area. However, it is not.If I go to 'customize' and look at navigation, I currently have the primary menu set to 'top menu' and the secondary menu set to 'bottom menu'. Everything is saved, but the bottom menu isn't showing up. Can someone please tell me why?
Also, after this gets resolved, can I change the primary menu to '--- Select ---', and keep the secondary menu as bottom menu? I expect this will hide the top 'light gray' menu, and keep the bottom menu next to the title. Should it work this way?
Thanks

2. Add custom menu widget to "header right" widget area and select menu that was previously selected as primary menu.

But it caused a different problem.

Is there any way to have the menu items start more to the left, so that I can get them onto one line?
August 7, 2015 at 12:17 pm #161730Davinder Singh KainthMemberIn the following code...
/* Widget Area --------------------------------------------- */ .site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: right; width: 740px; }
1. Change text-align: left;
2. Increase width in above code and decrease same amount of width in the following code.header-image .title-area { width: 320px; padding: 0; }

The left aligning the widget area code worked. It added a small amount of space.
Then I tried modifying the 740px to 840px and reducing the 320px to 220px. But the decrease in the width in the title area just wound up clipping my title area picture. It did create 100px more space for the menu. I'm undoing this last change.
What I need to be able to do is decrease the 275 pixel width blank area between my title graphic and the start of the menu items. Is that possible?
Also, is there a way to increase the height of my title image to greater than the 80px height of a menu line?
Thanks

.site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: left; width: 740px; }
For logo height change.
1. Open functions file and look for logo code with height 80px. Change height there.
2. Then change height in following code in style.css.header-image .site-title > a { float: left; min-height: 80px; width: 100%; }
3. Finally, upload new height logo.

I changed min-height to 110px in the .header-image code above,
I changed the functions.php file with this code:
//* Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
'header-text' => false,
'height' => 110,
'width' => 320,
) );And I created a new larger header image to fill the space.
Unfortunately, the menu height to the right of the header image also increased in height to 110px.
Can I have a larger header image appear (currently 110px high) and keep the menu height at 80px? Is that possible?

Thanks for all of your help!
