    I am using the essence pro theme. I'm on latest version of everything.
    I have worked on a lot of WordPress websites, but css isn't my forte.

    On the front page, I need to have three changes, but I don't know where to edit or what changes need to be made in the styles.css file.

    I would like the logo to be centered instead of on the left. (That may be a problem because of the search box on the right.

    I would like the logo to be about 50% the size that is currently displayed.

    I would like to lighten the shadow or transparency that covers all of the main images. (On the cover, that's the image of the water with the book over the top.)

    Hope someone can help me out with those changes.

    If you perform a Google Search, you will find a few tutorials on how to do these. Search for "essence pro center logo".
