Does anyone know if there's a child theme for Genesis that allows for 1) full-screen width (not just headers, but content as well, with no wasted space outside the side margins) and 2) page transparency allowing a full-screen photo background to show through the content? Like my blog that uses wordpress theme Andrea (calhounrising.wordpress.com), but with the SEO friendliness, navigation and post excerpts w/featured photos of Prose. Prose would be perfect were it not for the loss of space outside its side margins.
Many thanks to all with this frustrating problem and my frustrating lack of knowledge.

There is a setting inside Genesis to set your default layout to full width but not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for. In my opinion, today's technology is robust and responsive, which means when done properly, it will fit to the form of the reader's device. I would suggest using Prose if you like it and run with it. Let me responsiveness of the theme take care of serving your content to your readers. I am also assuming Prose has a Pro version and is responsive.
