    Hi Nick,

Thanks for all the support. I filled out the form. I bought the pro plus years back. Just called my bank and they are going to charge me to pull 2009 and 2010 statements to find the date and transaction. Hopefully this can be resolved and found without me having to do this.

@jrmirand1964: Have you completed the form suggested by Nick: http://www.studiopress.com/account-assistance? You will want to provide as much information as possible so they can locate your account - original purchase method; email address; transaction ID, date etc.

    Hello,

I downloaded the News theme but it does not have a zip file. According to instructions to upload a child theme to wordpress it says to install the zip file etc. Thanks for any help!

    Alan,

the best place for your issue is via help desk. That said :

Sorry that you are having trouble with this. I'm going to guess that you are on a Mac since that is when I usually see this issue. I recently switched to using a Mac and that first week this issue caused me endless frustrations. It turns out there is a default setting that unzips downloaded files and then deletes the zip file automatically. I guess this is handy unless you need the zip files like WordPress users do.

I found there are two simple solutions. You can disable this option in the browser preferences. I just looked and the option says "Open safe files after downloading" and is in the "General" tab. Once disabled you should be able to download zip files like normal.

The other option is to press "control" while clicking on your folder. Select to "compress" the folder and you will get a new zip file easy as that. It is super important that the Genesis folder be named "genesis" exactly like that. It can't be "genesis-2" or anything else like that.

I hope this helps ease your frustration and gets you back on track.

I want to purchase an individual child theme.  I've filled out two forms, no response.  I just want to purchase it... why can't I do this?  Where is tech support??

To purchase an individual theme first log in via my.studiopress.com then visit the themes page. If you filled in a support request but did not hear back by now please check your spam filters and make sure that the @copyblogger.com address is whitelisted with your email provider. I have looked and there are no old requests waiting for a reply in StudioPress support at this moment.
