    On the author archive page, there is first the image and info about the author, and then the list of posts by that author. I would like to switch these two, so that you first see the posts and beneath that the author info. Any idea how I this can be accomplished?

    Thanks!

    Change the hook position https://wpsites.net/genesis-hooks/

    This is the default position found on line 117 of archive.php :

    add_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_author_box_archive', 15 );

    You can remove this function form that hook and re-hook it to after the loop.

    No worries.

    This, in functions.php, should remove it :

    remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_author_box_archive', 15 );

    And then you can add it back using a different hook, maybe genesis_after_loop
