    Hi All...

New Genesis user here. I am using Dynamik Theme.

I have sidebar/content/sidebar for the home page and I have navigation in the left (secondary) sidebar. I want to use sidebar/content format for single posts, but I want the sidebar to be the secondary sidebar, not the primary sidebar so it matches the home page. How would I display the secondary instead of primary for the sidebar/content format?

    Thanks

    Hi,
I'm surprised that Dynamik doesn't already have that built-in. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you're a coder, this shows how. http://www.billerickson.net/switch-genesis-sidebars/

If you're a non-coder, you could try playing with this:

    Genesis Simple Sidebars

    Good luck, Dave

    Hi Dave...

I am not a coder as such... but using that link I figured it out. Thx!

(trying to avoid plugins and learn a bit of customization)

Super - and I salute you for being willing to touch code! Many visitors here will not. You will go much further than they will!

For even more coolness, you may want to back up your functions.php file with your new edits in it. That way, if you do a hasty theme update and knock out your "swapping code", you can check back and see your edits again. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Best, Dave
