    Try out Gary Jones' Visual Subtitle plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/visual-subtitle/. Be sure to click the information tabs at the bottom for more information.

    Thanks, but using block editor as the demo recommends the plugin you have indicated will not work. Rightly my mistake not to have said that I am using Gutemberg's block editor. Renew I question if you know how I can go about adding subtitles to the block editor. 🙁
