Streamline Pro + Featured Page Widget – Can you show a page excerpt

I have three widgets on the home page. In the first one I am using the Genesis Featured Page Extended widget. It works exactly like I want it EXCEPT it will not display the button to the page.

The other two are using the Genesis Featured Page widget that came with the theme. This one would be fine IF I could display the page excerpt instead of a certain number of page content characters. I already have a plugin installed that adds the the ability to set page excerpts I just can't get this plugin to display them.

Any advice or suggestions is very much appreciated.

Hi jodieb, I understand that this is a bit late in the game but I just came across your post. I released a plugin today Genesis Featured Page Advanced that is similar to the Genesis Features Page Extended plugin, by mine is a bit cleaner and allows you to add a custom image and custom content. That way you can directly specify what text you want in each widget. This plugin also displays the button like you are looking for.
