    After recommendations for a good plugin to stop spam coming through via Comments on my posts or via my contact form. I'm using Contact Form 7 as my contact form plugin.

    Hi...

    To prevent from spam comment, don't use the WordPress default comment system. Even Akismet doesn't help to prevent spam comment on WP Default comment system. Use Disqus Comment instead, it is absolutely wonderful for me (at least).

    Hi Belinda,

    If you insist on using the default commenting system, you can use the Stop Spammers plugin. It works great for comments, but I'm not sure if it'll check your contact form.
