Couple of years ago, I have installed a website for a friend:

    Accueil

He came back to me yesterday and he was complaining that his website as become slow.

I am not a programmer (that is basically why I love StudioPress themes).

And I dont know where to start to Optimize his clogged up website.

    Any help would be welcomed

You can run all images through WP Smushit, deactivate and delete all unnecessary WP plugins.

Try and squeeze down the large master background image.

Add in W3 Total Cache and look at using a CDN service like CloudFlare, but since it is a booking system test a dev site out first.
