I have been trying to make some changes to the layout only to find myself frustrated because what I thought it would do it isn't at all.

If someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction for CSS tuts I would be most appreciative. most of what I see online is crap and garbage, makes someone feel cool to post a youtube vid but half the time you can't understand them and the other half their instructions don't work.

Sorry, a little irritated today 🙂

To make it easy, I am trying to figure out how to use DIV tags to lay out a page, header, include a block within that header, etc.

I have gone around and around with this, and no I'm not going to pay someone else to do it for me, I want to learn this.....

so any help would be appreciated.

I stumbled on this post a few months ago: The Best Way to Learn CSS

I have also used these tutorials to help some of my contributors get a starter handle on WordPress: WP101 Basix Training

There are a lot of other helpful free tutorials and sessions all around TutsPlus. Enjoy 🙂
