    I am upgrading from the original Agent Theme to Genesis Agent Press. My short term goal is to replicate the published version of the AgentPress that I see in the tutorial.

    Can someone who has done that - or something similar - provide me with an export of their settings. That would be a great shortcut to finishing the customizing.

    Frankly, lot of things can break or not transfer correctly during this. Best option would be creating a test install and setup everything there like you want. Once you are satisfied transfer it to live website. Don't play around with live site, if you have active visitors on it.

    While changing themes, there no need to transfer contents. However, widgets content, custom post type content will break and have to be manually re-created. Another reason to do all this on a test installation.
