Social icons on blog excerpts

I would be forever grateful if someone could help me figure out how to set up vertical social sharing bars next to post excerpts on a blog page (like this -  http://blog.smartbear.com/software-quality, which is not in WP).  There are multiple plugins that will work on full text posts, but they only allow one bar per page because they're floated left.  I'm duplicating that blog in WP using Genesis and the Dynamik child theme. Thank you!

Thank you, Chris.  Alas, I've tried every social sharing plugin under the sun, including Socialize.  I was excited to see a checkbox for blog excerpts, but it doesn't work.  I think I have to get into the loop which is tricky with Genesis/Dynamik. I'm also trying to grab the first image in each blog post for the excerpts (as thumbnails aligned right) and haven't been successful with that either.  Have you ever inserted PHP into the loop?

I do a lot of editing of the PHP files and Loops in WordPress as part of my work.
