Client wants a slideshow that will appear in a lightbox after a thumbnail image is clicked. Does anyone have any suggestions for a plugin or another good way to implement this? I'd like to use the Jetpack slideshow but I can't find a lightbox or popup plugin that will load shortcode. (it has a occurred to me that I could create separate pages for each slideshow and then load them in iframes but that seems like a lot of extra steps for what she wants accomplished). The closest I have found is portfolio slideshow pro and that is currently on the page (http://www.caitlinmarcoux.net/gallery/), but it loads awfully slow. Help?

I would use the native WordPress gallery with the Jetpack lightbox or Slim Jetpack.

For sliders, i like Soliloquy and Easing Slider.

I'd like to use the jetpack slider, problem is I cannot figure out how to get it to open and play in a lightbox rather than on the page. Any thoughts on re-engineering it to function in that way?
