I'd like to draw on the experience and knowledge of the Genesis community.

I am fairly new to WordPress and very new to Genesis. I am using the Agency theme. That theme includes the Genesis Responsive Slider, but I think I would like to use something that's a little different than that. I would like to have a slider that uses an image and has the capability of having either a brief "headline" or a paragraph of text that can be formatted. (I could make the headlines part of the image, but suspect that the ability to use text would be better for a paragraph of text.) Each slide would link to a different page of the site, but not necessarily pull the images or the content from those pages. Ideally it would also allow the "dot" pagination underneath the slider. It does not have to be responsive.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

I like Easing Slider as its super easy to install anywhere in Genesis using the Simple Hooks plugin.

You upload your own images and link them anywhere you like. Easy to adjust width and height and also includes a range of different effects like a shadow arc.

Written a tutorial about it if needed.

    Hi Brad,
I installed the Simple Hooks plug-in and didn't know how to use it. So, if you do have a tutorial on it, please share.
