Please copy the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

You can change the position your slider displays simply by changing the hook in the above code from:

    genesis_header

    To another like:

    genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap

Thank you very much I solved with simple hook genesis thanks to you;)
you can also use genesis slider responsive?
What code should I use in simple hooks instead of <? Php if (function_exists ('wp_content_slider')) {wp_content_slider ();}?>?
    thanks so much

Custom function in your child themes functions.php file is better and it includes a hook already.
