    I added the following to the Metro Child functions.php

    //* Enqueue Google fonts
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'metro_google_fonts' );
    function metro_google_fonts() {
    wp_enqueue_style( 'google-font', '//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Crimson+Text:400,400italic,700,700italic', array(), CHILD_THEME_VERSION );
    }

    Then I changed the following to the CSS under body:

    font-family: 'Crimson Text', serif;

    Now my site just comes up a blank page whether I try to access it as a visitor or administrator. I can't do anything.

    What's going on?

    Log in to your hosting account, browse to your file manager. Locate the your theme folder, then the functions file. You will need to edit it to remove the content you placed in there. Save it and it should return. The CSS should not have had any affect on it.
